Here is what I know...
Cal has played 3 pretty solid opponents and played them well. They could easily be 2-1 and at stretch be 3-0. They are young but their offense has moved the ball consistently in all of their games and the defense has been okay but prone to fall asleep at times.
Utah has been tough to figure. While the win over USU was expected, the loss to A&M was not as close as the score indicated. Ags QB missed several wide open receivers. Also the fact that Utes will be playing this with BU QB (unless starter decides to play in pain with broken wrist on non passing arm) leads me to buck the trend here.
I know defensive stats point to Utes but less than stellar opponents tell me that maybe they are misleading. Also note that both KSU and CSU have very good offenses.
3* Cal +2
4* Cal/Utah Over 53
Not sure either defense will be effective in this one.
